Head Chef

ibis Styles Barnsley hotel is looking for a Head Chef to help us deliver tasty meals for our busy guests. This position, based on 32 hours per week, comes with a salary of £12.50 per hour plus benefits.

If you know your way around a busy kitchen and can confident rustle up tasty and consistent dishes, this could be the role for you. We're looking for someone with professional cooking experience who can be a great addition to our kitchen team. In addition to cooking, you'll be leading the kitchen team, managing stocks and supplies, minimising costs and maximising profits and maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen.

The position would suit someone with experience working in a pub or high street restaurant or a hotel, who can follow our company menu and maintain high standards.

We're a 24/7 business, so flexibility to work mornings and evenings, midweek and weekend should be expected. Shifts are typically 4-5 hours, and your earliest start would be 6am., 1 years experience cooking in a professional kitchen
