Grounds Maintenance Worker

Bradgate Ground Maintenance are currently recruiting experienced and driven Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work in the Cambridge & Peterborough area, operating from the depot located in Sawtry.

Responsibilities and duties as our Grounds Maintenance Operative:

• To work as part of a two man team, maintaining grounds for schools & industrial units


• Undertake grass cutting and stimming


• Hedge and shrub maintenance


• Herbicide application (subject to qualification)


• Weeding


• Line-marking
  
  Full clean UK Driving License ( essential)


• A minimum of 1 years' experience in operating ride on and push along mowers, hedge cutters and strimmer's


• Excellent communication skills & organization skills


• Ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team


• Own transport to travel to and from the depot in Sawtry


Desirable qualifications and skills required by our Grounds Maintenance Operative:

• PA1 / PA6 spraying license


• Trailer competent (B+E), grounds maintenance: 1 years (required)


An enhanced DBS check will be required on successful candidates

Salary: From £11.00 per Hour to £12.50 per hour subject to experience
