Ground Worker

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction and maintenance tasks on site. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team., Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including digging trenches and excavating areas
- Lay foundations, concrete slabs, and pathways
- Install drainage systems and underground utilities
- Operate machinery such as diggers, dumpers, and compactors
- Carry out manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials and using hand tools
- Assist with the installation of fencing, gates, and other structures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Previous experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is preferred but not essential
