Role & Responsibilities:

• Specify, purchase, design, qualify and handover effective manufacturing systems to Asset Teams

ensuring plant modifications have credible delivery plans

• Agree and through effective reporting adhere to capital expenditure plans


• Provide process engineering expertise to the transfer and scale up of new processes and

technologies to the manufacturing plants ensuring all aspects of SHE and cGMP compliance are addressed


• The job holder requires an honours degree or higher qualification in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent). Recognised by the IChemE


• Working towards full membership of the IChemE and the title of Chartered Engineer


• Work experience of the process and or pharmaceutical industry is essential


• Technically competent in biological processes and science including understanding of USP and DSP unit operations


• Application of root cause analysis and or deviation investigation to problem analysis. With the ability to influence, negotiate and persuade
