Goods In - Warehouse Operative

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

· Ensuring the rework is carried out correctly and in a timely fashion.

· Assigning aisles for stock to go away and planning with the Team Leader on who will put the goods away, Running pallets into aisles for put away.

· Construct the daily handover with Team Leader to the Mid shift via email, ideally before 3:00pm inbound for the mid-shift, put away from days and loading.

· Complete Goods In check list for all inbound loads.

· Conducting quality checks on incoming goods to ensure they meet our standards.

· Strong organisational skills.

· Cross over with mid-shift and liaise with mid-shift Team Leader.

Successful Candidate:

· Must be competent using WMS systems training with be provided

· Must have PPT/Counterbalance, VNA license will be an advantage

· Must be a team player and a good communicator

· A good attitude and a willingness to get stuck in and work as a team reporting directly to the Goods IN (team leader/supervisor)

· Good attention to detail is a must, you will be required to check all inbound loads against GRN's and flag any discrepancies to your supervisor.

· Must be a forward thinker and have the ability to work in an FMCG environment

· Must have experience of inbound containers (palletized or handball)

· Must be fully competent in loading and unloading vehicles using PPT

· Minimum of 3+ years Warehouse experience.

Shifts Available: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Day Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 - with 1 hour break

Immediate start

Salary: £24,500 + bonus rising to £26,500 on completion of 3 month probation period.
