GOLF SHOP ASSISTANT / TRAINING APPLICANT / PGA TRAINEE / PGA ASSISTANT

To serve customers, answer the telephone, take bookings and sell merchandise in the shop. Handle daily paperwork and ensure that money is properly accounted for. Also to record all other items as required by the Management and to be able to operate the till and the computers in the office and on reception. Potential for building coaching business through self-employment to support our customers., · Facilities - Responsible for opening and closing of the premises including setting alarm and checking all areas are safe and secure when on duty.

· Retail - Handling and accounting for money including tilling up at the end of the shift. Handling and selling merchandise in the Golf Shop and pricing goods.

· Customer Service - Liaising with customers, taking bookings, adopting a good telephone manner.

· Communication - with the team across all departments.

· Team Work - Assisting other departments wherever necessary and ability to work within a team and maintain good working relationships

· Multitasking

· Till Operator - Must be able to operate the till, handle money competently and perform the end of day banking procedures.

EXPERIENCE:

· Coaching

· Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

· Retail

· The role will involve 15-20 hours shift-work

· Day and evening shifts

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

· Availability to coach outside of golf shop hours
