We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through rigorous testing, automation, and continuous improvement processes. The ideal candidate for the Software Quality Engineer role is a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. They possess a strong technical background in software testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks. They thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies.

  • Develop, guide and oversee the execution of manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

  • Assist with performing regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features and validate the impact of code changes.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  • Continuously monitor and improve the quality assurance process by identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance to enhance skills and knowledge.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Software Quality Engineer or a similar role in software development.

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

  • Overall, the ideal Software Quality Lead will combine technical expertise, critical thinking and effective communication skills to ensure the delivery of reliable and high-quality software solutions in a continually improving environment.

    Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Software Quality Engineer or similar role in software development.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approx 50%.
