Forecourt Shop Assistant

Wallis & Son Ltd is an established family run business which has been specialising in the motor trade since 1937. The fourth generation of the family now leads a dependable team at their site in the picturesque village of Barton just on the outskirts of Cambridge.

Our forecourt shop is unique in the fact that in addition to stocking everyday items we also specialise in American confectionery, snacks, breakfast items and baking goods. The shop also offers hot food to go and a coffee station.

We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our shop and are now looking for staff to join our established team of Forecourt Assistants.

We have various shifts available which can include weekends so please do not hesitate to get in contact.

Please note you must be over 18 years of age.

The hourly rate is £12.50 per hour. You will be entitled to 22 days holiday pro rata per annum plus bank holidays plus your birthday. Additional shifts will be available as overtime.

The role will include:

Till Operation

Restocking of shelves

Rotation of stock

Handling daily deliveries

Cooking Hot Food

Maintaining Coffee Machine

Ensuring the shop floor is kept clean and tidy.

Full training will be given but previous experience of working in a retail environment will be hugely beneficial.
