Food Market Stall Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Market Stall Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of running our market stall, including setup, customer service, sales, and clean up.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in erecting and deconstructing the gazebo for the market stall.

· Transport and set up tables for the market stall.

· Help set up equipment required for the market stall.

· Handle food products with care, ensuring quality and presentation.

· Process transactions using a POS system efficiently and accurately.

· Provide excellent customer service, including offering samples and discussing our products and services.

· Work closely with the chef to prepare and serve food items.

· Clean the market stall and surrounding area at the end of each day.

· Handle food waste according to health and safety guidelines.

· Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work well in a team.

· Basic math skills for handling transactions.

· Level 2 Food safety hygiene certificate or willing to work towards one
