Food & Health & Social Care Teacher

First Class Supply are working with a school based in North Northumberland, who are looking to appoint a Food, Health & Social Care Teacher for September to cover maternity leave.

Duties include:

• Teaching:


1. BTEC Level 2 & 3 Health & Social
2. NCFE Level 2 Child Development
3. WJEC Level 2 Hospitality and Catering


• Create a positive learning environment that enables learners to achieve their potential


• Contribute to the monitoring and development of the above subjects to ensure suitable opportunities are provided to learners


• Plan effectively and prepare lessons to ensure coverage of the curriculum and differentiate those plans to meet the needs of all learners


• Assess, record and report on the development and progress of learners and analyse relevant data to promote the highest possible aspirations for learners and target expectations and actions to raise learners achievements


• Promote and implement policies and procedures that support the ethos of the school


• Attend staff, department and other school meetings arranges by SLT
  
  be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment


• be able to inspire and motivate


• be committed to raising achievement and standards


• hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
