Full Job Description

  • Final internal / external fixes (snagging)

  • Happy to jump on the tools.

  • Ensure all Health and Safety is enforced and monitored onsite on a daily basis

  • Able to supervise and complete self-performed operations

  • Liaise and communicate with engineering staff, other section foremen, site management and client's staff

  • Be practically minded with a hands-on approach

  • Have sound technical knowledge

  • Manage plant / resources and manage demand on site

  • Have good verbal communication skills at all levels

  • Good understanding of works undertaken by subcontractors

  • Understand the Environmental and Quality aspects of construction

  • Understand and ensure compliance with drawings and specification

  • Be able to innovate and improve where appropriate

  • Keep a site diary

    We are searching for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Finishing Foreman to join the team. The successful candidate will be expected to work to high standards whilst supervising and supporting theteam and willalso have experience in reading drawings.

    The ability to communicate effectively on site with the team, managers and clients whilst ensuring compliance with site rules is absolutely essential.

    Also ensuring that relevant daily checks and records are completed and up to date Current and relevant CSCS card, or equivalent is required.

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar position with a main contractor - Carpentry / Joinery / Trade based foreman would be a good fit.
