Full Job Description

Financial Services Administrator

Main purpose:

To provide administrative support to the advisers and Directors.

Reports to:

The Administration Manager

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Provide general admin support to include:

  • Preparing documents including client agreements, letters of authority and other documents.

  • Dealing with letters, emails and phone calls from clients and 3rd parties

  • Complex case implementation


  • Managing and maintaining confidential client information to include:
  • Opening client files on Office 365 and Intelligent Office.

  • Inputting information onto client records.

  • Dealing with queries and gathering financial and client information.

  • Provide support Admin Support including new business processing, review preparation and processing in a timely and efficient manner.


  • General responsibilities
  • Follow company procedures, for example, in relation to data security and client confidentiality.

  • Communicate with clients professionally and politely.

    Working in a financial services office environment for at least 12 months, preferably 2 years

  • Understanding of financial services products and processes

  • Emails and letter writing

  • Accurate input of info onto client records

  • Use of systems such as Office, Word etc.

    Centurion Chartered Financial Planners is an independent chartered financial planning business established over 15 years ago and currently comprising of 11 regulated advisers between Newton Abbot and Cheltenham. We currently have four offices with our head office being Clevedon just outside Bristol and have a total headcount of 24 employees. The vast majority of our work comes from solicitors and other professional connections and therefore it is important that we give a high-quality service with keen attention to detail.

    Salary £22,000 - 30,000 dependent upon experience

    Benefits 20 days holiday pa plus bank holidays rising to a maximum of 25 days and at Christmas the office traditionally closes without any impact on annual leave
