Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager/ Finance Business Partner to join a business which is on a growth journey. You will play an instrumental part in this journey, supporting and influencing the Group Finance Director, as well as everyone else within our group to deliver business plans and drive value and success.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reporting and analysis- Provision of clear, accurate and timely information, analysed in an innovative way to support the leadership team in making good decisions.

  • Job management and process- Taking ownership of synergist (our internal job management system) and managing the usage and process used

  • Management of accounts - leading a slick month end process within the rest of the finance team and producing management accounts for presentation to the Finance Director each month

  • Cashflow management- managing the cash inflows and outflows and maximising any excess cash available. This includes approving payment runs, supporting with credit control queries, transferring funds between accounts.

  • Team management

  • Ad hoc responsibilities include completing quarterly VAT returns tax queries, companies house filings, insurance, rent recharges, working alongside the Group Finance Director on project work.

    Must be fully qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA

  • Payroll knowledge (desired, not essential)

  • Experience in a marketing or service business is preferred (desired, not essential)

  • Experience using Sage 50

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
