Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Finance Manager to join a growing hospitality investment firm based in Central London. The Finance Manager will have broad responsibility across the whole finance function and will have frequent interaction with the senior stakeholders. You will be managing 2 team members; bookkeeper and accounts payable and reporting directly to the Founding Partners.,

  • Manage accounts team (currently 2 employees; bookkeeper & accounts payable personnel)

  • Review monthly management accounts

  • Review Weekly bank and monthly balance sheet reconciliations

  • Monthly cash flow forecasting and reporting

  • Develop and implement agile financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with our Business growth objectives.

  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support decision-making.

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.

  • Process Payroll

  • Review quarterly VAT returns

  • Manage annual audit

  • Prepare monthly finance reporting packs

  • Circulate weekly flash P&Ls for the whole portfolio companies

  • Closely monitor costs and suggest cost saving options

  • Work with Partners on ad hoc projects

    The Finance Manager must have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, having managed a small team. Hospitality experience is essential for this role., Ideally qualified Accountant

  • Highly motivated, ambitious and a self-starter

  • Hospitality experience is a must!

  • Knowledge of Payroll

  • Relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA)

  • Hospitality sector experience is crucial

  • Proficient in Excel for building financial models, budgets and reporting

  • Strong background in financial management, investments, and due diligence

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven experience in financial leadership roles
