Finance Manager

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Finance Manager at Zotefoams located in London, with flexibility for some remote work. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. They will also contribute to strategic decision-making and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The Finance Manager will ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide guidance on financial planning and risk management.

As our Finance Manager you will also be tasked to:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, ensure that the company fulfils its tax compliance obligations with HMRC, and to support in the creation of a strong control environment across the group


• Contribute to the strategic development of the Finance group as a member of the Group FC's leadership team,

Preparation and submission of the VAT returns for the UK and German legal entities.

• Preparation and submission of the annual PSA calculations for all applicable UK legal entities.


• Preparation and submission of the Corporation Tax returns for all UK legal entities.


• Supporting transfer pricing across all legal entities


• Preparation and submission of the Intrastat and EC Sales listing


• Ensuring timely and accurate payments are made to meet all PAYE and corporation tax obligations.


• Carrying out R2R activities to support the preparation of the monthly management accounts


• Supporting the interim and full year financial audits to ensure timely and efficient completion including working with the compliance team for the annual report.


• Supporting the FP&A team and other functions with any queriesActing as a superuser on AX Dynamics and a systems expert within the finance department.


• Assisting the Senior Management Accountant with identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting activities.


• Supporting overseas offices and the international finance team with any queries Carrying out any ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
  
  Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA) or could be QBE KnowledgePractical working knowledge of financial software


• Strong knowledge of preparing accounts under International Financial Reporting Standards


• Practical working knowledge of taxation in the United Kingdom


Experience

• Minimum 5 years working in a finance department of an international organisation


• Supported major group wide system implementation projects


• Accurately prepared PSA and VAT returns.


• Successfully introduced process enhancements within previous organisations


• Willing to get involved across a broad range of financial tasks.


Skills

• High level communication skills to proactively engage with stakeholders in other departments


• Strong computing skills are essential (particularly the use of Excel and ERP systems/databases)
