We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join one of our excellent supported living service in Calne as a Support Worker.

Making it happen - Your Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join one of our excellent supported living service in Calne as a Support Worker.

This is a responsible role which is really varied, can be challenging and is extremely rewarding, the job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support so they can live as independently as possible and have the freedom to make their own choices.

As a Support Worker your role will involve:

  • Helping with daily chores such as cooking and cleaning

  • Administering medication

  • Providing active support

  • Personal care

  • Accompanying individuals on leisure activities and into the community

  • Dealing with some behaviours that challenge

    Whilst we aren't necessarily looking for someone with previous experience, we do require that candidates have good understanding of social care. You should embody United Response's aim to provide the very highest level of care to the person we support and always do so with a smile on your face.


  • The needs of this service do require the successful applicant to hold a full drivers licence with access to your own vehicle., Disability Confident
