Full Job Description

This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. As a Deputy Care Manager you will receive £28,334 per annum.

At Dereham, we have one Supported Living (5 bedded home) and two independent living flats. Our services are personalised to the individuals that live in them and the people that provide the support.

We support individuals with complex health needs. The people we support enjoy a wide variety of opportunities - such as walks, days out, dancing and art. We encourage those we support to enjoy as much as possible to gain life skills and live full and active lives.

As a Deputy Care Manager your role will include a combination of office based and hands on tasks. Comprehensive training provided. This is an opportunity for you to work alongside the Registered Care Manager to help run the home.

You will be required to to work some evenings, weekends, sleep ins and will include some lone working.,

  • You will assist the manager in the running of the service including rota, supervising, mentoring and leading the team to ensure that all shared responsibilities are fulfilled and systems maintained which guarantee compliance.

  • To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.

  • To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.

    Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Deputy Care Manager within our services in Dereham, Norfolk., Experience of leading teams within the Social Care environment.

  • Experience in the management of services and understand the legislation and requirements that governs us from CQC.
