Full Job Description

  • Leading on the Facilities Management Digital Strategy at Air level this role will deliver the necessary Digital Transformation to bring the Systems, Operations, Tools and Techniques used extensively across the Construction and Estate Maintenance Industry to BAE Systems, improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations, data handling and exchange and service delivery

  • Leadership of the Technical Library and Information Services team and provision of seamless integration across our Digital Media Systems and Services within the AV and Photographic team with wider DTDI digital capability offer to Air

  • Manage the computer aided FM facilities

  • Development and implementation of Building Information Management (BIM) processes for FM and Air UK

  • Leading the transformation of Facilities Management related data and digital solutions to improve and expand capability across the organisation to visualise, handle, analyse and order data and information to help deliver our fundamental roles and responsibilities.

  • Management of the Library and Information Services team, managing and facilitating access to a wide variety of literature/resources through both external & internal information repositories and research tools

  • Management of the AV and Photographic team, providing support for our many conference rooms and briefing facilities, whilst in turn supporting the evolving digital revolution and the adoption of interactive and collaborative technologies, equipment and system solutions

    Strong knowledge of Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)

  • Ability to effectively operate within digital environment

  • Experience of driving business operations through innovative approaches

  • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations

  • Good People Management Skills

    Salary: £63,900 + (depending on skills and experience), You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
