Experienced Groundworker with HGV 2 Lorry License

We are looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and maintenance of properties. This includes digging trenches, laying asphalt, pouring concrete, and installing drainage systems & help setting out site.,

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery.


• Dig trenches, lay foundations, and install drainage systems.


• Follow safety protocols when operating machinery.


• Use hand tools to cut, shape, and form materials.


• Understand the principles of building construction.


• Work in a team environment.


• Lift and move heavy objects.


• Perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  
  Helping out other trades as and when requested and collecting/delivering materials if required.

A driving Licence to drive a HGV class 2 or above is essential. (May consider a 7.5 tonne licence holder for the right candidate)
At least 5 years experience with driving heavy machinery in construction is essential
Supervisory experience would also be an advantage though not essential for the right candidate.
