ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN (AIR, WATER, NOISE, VIBRATION AND COSHH) - SOUTHEAST

The correct term for a consultant with these specialisations is an occupational hygienist. A type of environmental consultant who travels to client sites to assess, test and monitor a number of risks which can cause harm if uncontrolled, samples are then taken to laboratories for analysis and a formal report compiled. Our quality methods keep both the consultant and building occupants completely safe throughout.

We will provide fully funded training and experience before a staged authorisation stage begins.

· Assist authorised consultants in conducting their duties.

· Learn to setup and correctly use technical equipment such as air pumps, monitors and other technical equipment.

· Use tablet PCs to collect data and accurately describe findings.

· Travel from site to site, arriving on time and communicating effectively.

· Must have a full UK driving licence and enjoy driving

· Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check

· Hold GCSE A-C or equivalent in Maths, English and Science

· Must be willing to pass training courses associated with the role.

· Must be friendly, professional and hard working at all times.

· Be able to pass technical audits and exams.

· Be methodical in their approach and excellent at communication.,

Riverside are seeking candidates for a fully funded training programme to become multidisciplinary consultants in air, water, noise, vibration and COSHH. Each a specialisation within the environmental sector.

The role is ideal for someone who:

· £23,400 (£23,400 for graduates) rising initially to £25,400 after the first year.
