Full Job Description

The University of East Anglia seeks a dedicated and innovative Energy Manager to join our Sustainability team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the university's energy management strategy to ensure energy efficiency and sustainability across all operations.

This role involves collaboration across campus to promote sustainable energy practices, reduce energy consumption, and minimize our environmental impact.

You'll conduct regular energy audits to identify areas for improvement, inefficiencies, and opportunities for energy savings, as well as lead and manage energy conservation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve desired outcomes.

You will have:

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.

  • Relevant training and/or experience in automation


  • This full-time post is available from 1 July 2024 on an indefinite basis.

    Starting salary from £37,099 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £44,263 per annum.
