Full Job Description
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
- Use computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks (experience with this is desired but not essential)
- Support manufacturing department with product development and testing
- Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects
- Keep updated with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering
- Reading and understanding CAD drawings
- Understand design specific and technical drawings
- Fault finding
- Service and maintain machinery
Experience in using or a desire to learn on our machinery. - PLC/HMI programming literate (Rockwell/Siemens) is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of kitchen manufacturing is advantageous but not essential
- Works with PLCs, HMIs and drives including but not limited to Beckoff, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron, Schneider, Eton and Pilz.
- Experience with wood working machinery would be an advantage
- Extensive electrical engineering experience at least 2 years
- Qualified in electrical engineering
- Competent in the use of electrical engineering software
- Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes
- Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arises
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of woodwork industry would be an advantage but not essential., Electrical Engineering: 1 year (preferred)
