Full Job Description

  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications

  • Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards

  • Use computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks (experience with this is desired but not essential)

  • Support manufacturing department with product development and testing

  • Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects

  • Keep updated with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering

  • Reading and understanding CAD drawings

  • Understand design specific and technical drawings

  • Fault finding

  • Service and maintain machinery

    Experience in using or a desire to learn on our machinery.

  • PLC/HMI programming literate (Rockwell/Siemens) is advantageous but not essential

  • Knowledge of kitchen manufacturing is advantageous but not essential

  • Works with PLCs, HMIs and drives including but not limited to Beckoff, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron, Schneider, Eton and Pilz.

  • Experience with wood working machinery would be an advantage


  • Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive electrical engineering experience at least 2 years

  • Qualified in electrical engineering

  • Competent in the use of electrical engineering software

  • Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes

  • Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arises

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of woodwork industry would be an advantage but not essential., Electrical Engineering: 1 year (preferred)
