Full Job Description
Level 2/3 in Early Years and Childcare or equivalent, along with previous
experience within a Nursery setting. In addition, you must possess the
following key skills and experience:
- Working with the room senior to ensure the room meets all legal
- Participating in the planning and implementation of Early Years
- Acting as a key worker for allocated children
- Ensuring two way, open, honest communication with all parents and
- Ensuring upkeep of the room providing a safe and welcoming and stimulating
- Being an allocated first aider
- Being responsible for your own personal development under the guidance of your room senior.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills
- Articulate with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Potential to understand and implement Ofsted standards
- Ability to deal with parents and effectively handle issues
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work towards deadlines
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Offers practical solutions to problems
- Role model to other staff
- Ability to have fun
- As a Charity we expect all staff to help with events outside of working hours in the form of Fundraising.
