Early Years Apprentice Boston Nursery School

A Level 3 Early Years Apprentice is required. You will be joining a purpose-built nursery school for 2-4-year-old children that offers high quality early education. This is the perfect opportunity for you to kick start your career in the childcare sector! This position will allow you to support children and be a role model whilst gaining your Level 3 qualification! Duties include: supporting children on a one-to-one basis, in small groups or as part of a full class, and assisting with breakfast/ lunchtime/ after school clubs., Day to day your tasks will include:

• Support children on a one-to-one basis, in small groups or as part of a full class.


• Get creative in helping children to achieve their developmental steps.


• Assist with breakfast/lunchtime/after school clubs.


• Help with assessments and inputting of data.


• Change children as required and after training.


• Administer basic first aid after training.


• Assist in planning and creating inspiring learning environments.


• Prepare simple, healthy snacks.


• Develop over time into a key person role.


• Work inside and outside.


• Set up and tidy areas and resources.


• Contribute to planning and assessment.


• Any other duties which are relevant to the smooth running of the nursery as directed by the Head Teacher or members of staff.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Minimum Wage Rates

• Working week

Monday to Friday, working 7:30-3pm OR 8:30-4pm. There may be occasional days where we need additional cover at afterschool club until 5:15pm., You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
