Full Job Description

The Digital Portfolio Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing a group, or 'portfolio', of digital projects. In this role, you will use an iterative and flexible approach to help define governance processes for this portfolio. You'll shape delivery schedules for current and upcoming projects based on priority and resource availability. You will facilitate the closures of project phases and bespoke elements of work while supporting the ongoing delivery of all projects within the digital portfolio., In the role of Digital Portfolio Manager you will:

  • Analyse and interpret data, recognise risks and put forward recommendations.

  • Help to create conducive environments that enable teams to deliver on their objectives.

  • Support the prioritisation of a group of projects and programmes.

  • Advise teams to follow governance and delivery processes, ensuring consistency, compliance and quality across all projects and programmes.

  • Provide support to stakeholders, helping them to understand the performance of work and any related risks.

  • Support more senior portfolio managers and demonstrate leadership in making advancements to execute strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
