Full Job Description

JOB TITLE: DEPUTY MANAGER

RESPONSIBLE TO: SETTING MANAGER

RESPONSIBLE FOR: SETTING WORKERS JOB PURPOSE:


To provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the setting and to maintain a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment. To be responsible for the curriculum planning within the setting and to manage the provision, including staffing levels and other administrative tasks in the absence of the Setting’s Manager.

Hours Pro-rata Weeks Term -time only is 38 weeks per year Salary Negotiable - inclusive of holiday pay entitlement This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and does require an enhanced criminal records check.


Applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and any orders which have been made against them.

 Encourages and stimulates others to make the best use of their talents to develop further using coaching techniques.
