Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team for a new custom built theraputic EBD home. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company., Assist the Manager in coordinating and managing all aspects of the day to day running of the home
- Supervise and provide guidance to Senior theraputic practitioners and theraputic practitioners to deliver trauma informed child focused care
- Develop and implement effective care plans for children in partnership with the clinical psychologist team
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Children's Homes regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation with high quality reporting and recording
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided for all children in our care
- Collaborate with senior management teams to create a services that prides itself on continuous development
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external stakeholders

- Ensuring that the child's voice is at the forefront of the care delivered by the team

Previous 12 experience in a deputy manager role
- Strong drive and motivation to excel in childcare management
- Proficient in IT systems and software applications
- Demonstrated experience working with children with complex needs and SEMH
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

must hold a level 3 working with children and young people

must hold a full driving licence,

  • A-Level or equivalent (required)

  • Residential Childcare: 2 years (required)

  • Senior care: 1 year (required)

  • Driving Licence (required)

  • NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (required)
