Stepping Stones Care are looking for a Deputy Manager for one of our Wolverhampton Homes, who is ambitious, driven and wants to work for an organisation that is prepared to do things differently.

Earn up to £16.00 per hour - We used structured pay grades based on training, experience and qualifications + Monthly Sleep in Allowance

Company Progression Pathway - 2024 sees the launch of our Deputy Manager Training Programme, with the aim of developing our Deputy Managers into Registered Managers of the future. This will include more than 100 hours of training tailored especially to Therapeutic Residential Childrens Homes.

Awards - Employee of the Month Award, Annual Company Events, etc

  • Diploma or NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People's Workforce.

  • Understanding of attachment and trauma in relation to young people.

  • A commitment to personal development and the acquisition of professional skills and further qualifications.

  • 3 years' work experience working with Young People within a residential environment.

  • Experience of working with young people with emotional and behavioural issues and complex needs including challenging behaviour., Willing to complete NVQ or Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)., Senior Residential Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)

    Salary - up to £16.00 per hour dependent on experience + Sleep-in Allowance
