Reporting to the Managing Director
Assist with installation planning
Install on site
To assemble Roman blind headrails and other hardware
To prepare and inspect some items required for fittings and installations before projects begin
To work in conjunction with a team of sub contract fitters
To liaise with manufacturing and project teams
To conduct some initial site surveys and produce detailed measures of work
To undertake specific fitting projects in the UK and overseas where necessary
To ensure that projects are completed on time and to agreed quality standards
To be considered for this role, you should have
Full UK driving licence -(clean )
Have easy access to London
Your own van
Eligible to live and work in the UK

We are looking to expand our freelance installations team and require a candidate with experience in the industry
This is a hands on role in a successful soft furnishings company involved in the bespoke manufacture and installation curtains and blinds that has a reputation for quality, reliability and creativity working for some of London's leading interior designers, architects and property developers. It will appeal to a natural organiser and good communicator who can work in an environment where high quality service is essential
Applicants should ideally have had practical experience in the assembly of blinds, tracks/ pelmets or carpentry/shop fitting/ electrical experience would be a real advantage as would be fitting window treatments in a commercial or residential environment. Knowledge of motorised hardware would also be beneficial
Personal qualities should include excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills, the ability to fit into a small hardworking team environment and the flexibility to deal effectively with a range of personalities among staff, clients and suppliers. Tidy work ethic. This is a client facing role. All of this will be aligned to a detailed and methodical approach to work and a natural desire for quality, accuracy, precision and problem solving. The post is freelance from our base in Wandsworth/ Earlsfield and will involve travel to client sites in the UK (the majority in central London), and on occasion internationally if or where required.,
- hardware installation: 3 years (Preferred)

- GCSE or equivalent (Preferred), Curtain & Blind Installation: 3 years (preferred)
