Full Job Description

Building a sustainable tomorrow

BAM are currently working with Environment Agency on the Collaborative Delivery Framework (Eastern Hub) which aims to deliver the Environment Agency's capital spend programme over the next 3-4 years. The Eastern Hub covers all of East Anglia, Hertfordshire, North London and the Thames. Cost Administration support is needed to compliment an existing team due to an increasing workload. You will join our team based out of our offices in East Anglia (Shipham, Norfolk) or Surrey (Godstone).

Your work environment

  • BAM operates a flexible working policy

  • Home working is available but you should live within the region as there will be requirements to attend local offices and visit projects.


  • Your mission

    You will be responsible for the following:
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers

  • Raising site procurement requisitions

  • Collation of site records and input into financial systems

  • Processing of supplier invoices and dealing with queries

  • Support the Commercial team with Subcontract Payments

  • Support the Commercial team in the production of cost reports where required

  • Maintain site document filing system

  • Other administrative tasks as may be required


  • Who are we looking for?

  • Good computer literacy with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Teams etc)

  • Experience using financial software packages (e.g SAP) preferred but not essential

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Previous experience in similar role preferred but not essential
