Full Job Description

The successful candidate will also be required to communicate and report, as required, on status of overall business compliance to senior management team.
About the Job:
Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Managing compliance weekly to ensure records are up to date on the system and highlight any discrepancies with data loaded i.e. dates wrong etc.
  • Adding new starters to Alcumus and keep all tools list upto date

  • Archiving leavers from Alcumus and chasing the whereabouts of their tools.

  • Running monthly report on harness and lanyard manufacture expiry dates and contact any relevant colleague to replace where required

  • Making appointments based on the non-compliance report focusing on those most out of date

  • Support with any Alcumus T&E issues/queries

  • Provide leavers details to line managers

  • Upload new starters details

  • Add any new tools and update records where notified tools have been swapped/removed etc.

  • Make senior aware of any missed appointments

  • Report on failed equipment, equipment missing/lost/stolen or not taken to test with seniors - reports to be built in next few weeks.

  • Liaise with internal departments, senior management and all key stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the function

  • To take a lead role in the organisation and control of the business compliance at the zone level for the colleagues training, PAT testing (DataStation) and any other ad hoc activities

    IT literate and fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong planning, analytical and organisational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills

  • The ability to deal with people at all levels

  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined with strong time management skills

  • Flexible 'can do' attitude

  • Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Experience of FM and / or retail operations is highly desirable

    Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

  • 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets

  • Group personal pension scheme of matched contributions between 5% and 6%

  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
