Company Management Trainee

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a Company Management Trainee on the London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. This is an exciting development opportunity for someone who wishes to gain practical experience and knowledge in theatre company management.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, this new play by Jack Thorne received its world premiere in London's West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016. The critically acclaimed production is the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director in 2017.

The internship will run from August to October 2024 across the Production's recast rehearsals. The Intern will work Monday to Friday each week. Standard working hours will be between 9.30am - 6.30pm, although some evenings may be required.

The Intern will be trained and supported by the show's Company Management team. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Liaising with all departments to assist with scheduling rehearsal calls, fittings and technical rehearsals, assisting with admin requirements for the department and assisting the company management team as otherwise required.

    Job Location: Central London.

    Contract Type: Fixed Term until 18th October 2024 with the option to extend.

    Salary: £880.10 per week.

    Weekly Hours: 42 hours per week.
