Community Care Worker

If you have a skill of understanding and encouraging people to live independently and be part of a local community then join us today., As a Community Care Worker you'll have an ability to provide care delivered with compassion and enthusiasm, while contributing positively to an individual's physical and emotional wellbeing. You'll need:

• At least 6 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK


• The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility


• A valid Moving and Handling certificate


• The right to work in the UK


• This position requires applicants to be registered with Social Care Wales (SCW).


• Applicants must hold a valid driver's licence and have reliable access to a personal vehicle


You could make a difference to an individual's life

As part of this role, you will be supporting an adult paraplegic female who is reliant on a wheelchair for mobility. You must be female and a driver. In addition, you must also be comfortable completing invasive bowel care once shown by a nurse. Required to be confident working with someone who at times can be challenging and requires de escalating. Excellent command of spoken English is essential.

The shifts for this role are from 07:00 - 22:00 15 hour paid shift with breaks and 21:00 - 09:00 wake nights.
