A re you a self-motivated and experienced administrator looking for a new challenge that makes a real difference to patient care? We want a confident and capable person to take on the role of Administration Officer for the SBUHB Virtual Ward programme in PENDERI . We are currently recruiting into 1 fixed term post . This post is office based.
This is a fixed term post for 12 months due to Maternity cover.
If you are a Swansea Bay University Health Board employee this post will only be offered on a secondment basis and you will need to have gained your line managers approval for the secondment prior to going to interview.
Swansea Bay University Health Board is in the process of redesigning community services as part of the patient step up/step down pathways to maximise safe and effective patient care in their own homes. This will act to reduce avoidable hospital admissions and facilitate early patient discharge through the introduction of Cluster Virtual Wards. The virtual wards will have multi-professional input from Consultants, GPs, nurses and a wealth of other health and social care staff.
The role of the Administration Officer will be to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Manager and wider cluster virtual ward team. This includes general administrative support, arranging meetings, coordinating information, preparation of the virtual ward board round register, minute taking, data entry on multiple digital systems, generation of daily work lists for clinical staff and regular routine audits.
The post holder is required to communicate and liaise with staff and members of partner organisations, produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring compliance with Health Board policies.
