Full Job Description

We are looking for a Climate Data Specialist to contribute to Arm's response to the climate crisis.

You will focus on collecting and analysing technical data for internal and external reporting. You will partner with teams across Arm to support them to reduce their GHG emissions and achieve their renewable energy goals.

The ideal candidate will have the data skills, and interest in climate change to help Arm decarbonise and to report its progress.

Arm's Sustainability Strategy responds to two of the biggest challenges the world faces today, where Arm can make a difference for everyone - inequality and the climate crisis.

In response to the climate crisis we are prioritising reducing our own footprint and have set carbon reduction commitments:

- To achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2030, focusing on absolute emissions reduction.

- To maintain our 2023 100% renewable energy target
- This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Sustainability team. You will work closely with the Director of Climate Impact, the Manager Climate Impact, and the ESG Reporting Manager.

Arm's sustainability team is collaborative and agile, and this role will also be an integral part of the team and contribute to joint team outputs, thinking and insights.

- Partner with teams to support them in reducing their Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions and achieving their renewable energy goals - including leading environmental engagement initiatives to support low carbon decision making
- Prepare materials to communicate sustainability data to different stakeholders
- Provide administrative support for the Sustainability function including tracking team KPIs, and manage climate team contracts and payments with suppliers

Experience and good understanding of carbon emissions accounting across all scopes

- Good data management skills
- Proficient numerical and analytics skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Interest and understanding of climate change

Education & Qualifications:
- Relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) or equivalent experience

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience:

- Interest or experience of the technology sector
- Experience working in sustainability
