Full Job Description

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks to meet the standards set by the Head Teacher.


  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of designated areas within the school premises.


  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to achieve optimal results.


  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the Head Teacher.


  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for all occupants.


  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules.


  • Flexibility to work either in the early morning or evening, based on the assigned shift.

    Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail.


  • Strong communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.


  • Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the proper use of cleaning products and equipment.


  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

    Lydeard St Lawrence is a very small village school at the heart of the community. We are seeking to appoint a small team of permanent cleaners to join our small staff team and work with us to keep our school clean and healthy for our delightful pupils.,
