Full Job Description

The future is extremely bright with innovative No Wrong Door Service, our team is growing and we are looking to expand our team of Children's Residential and Edge of Care workers and are look to recruit to full and part time vacancies as well as increase our pool of relief workers. Join us as we ensure that every child or young person we work with gets the right support at the right time to meet their needs.

The role of a Children's Residential and Edge of Care worker is invaluable, rewarding, complex and at times challenging, you will play an essential role in providing direct care to children and young people across a range of No Wrong door settings including in a residential children's home, our supported accommodation for 16-17 year olds and through our community based edge of care outreach service which supports children and young people at risk of entering the care system.

Being able to work across all these areas brings variety to your work while contributing to developing your skills and practice. If you are applying for a relief post you can choose to work across all areas or focus on the children's home.

This is a very rewarding role yet at times it may be challenging due to the adverse childhood experiences and early childhood trauma the children and young people we support have experienced. We ensure children and young people have a dedicated, highly trained team around them, are supported as they move towards independence and never feel as though they are passed from service to service.
