Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in a bustling hotel setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and culinary arts, ensuring high-quality meals are served to our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards

- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and butchering meat

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area and equipment

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation

- Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary

Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a busy restaurant environment

- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field is desirable
