Carpet Store Manager

Carpets 4 Less have stores nationwide and are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused and above all friendly Store Manager who must be Experienced in Carpet & Flooring for our store in Milton Keynes.
Previous management experience essential
Duties include:

• Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning work to employees.


• Maintain staff results by motivating, coaching and appraising job results.


• Protect employees and customers by following Health and Safety guidelines to provide a safe and clean store environment.


• Serving and providing professional advice to customers.


• Measuring and estimating with confidence in customers homes.


• Achieving financial objectives by meeting targets and initiating corrective actions where needed.


• Organising store paperwork and computerised systems necessary for the efficient day to day operation of the store.


• Taking responsibility for cash handling and banking.


• Ensuring the Showroom and Warehouse are fully stocked at all times.


• All staff are required to lift or move carpets on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, between 9am - 6pm with one late night where operated. Overtime may be required to ensure that the store is adequately staffed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
