Car Parts Sales Advisor

Since the first branch of General Traffic opened in 1983, our family owned business has grown to become one of the largest stockists of automotive spares in the North West and the Midlands.

Responsabilities:

· Sourcing and supplying the correct part for the customer in an efficient and timely manner

· Never say no to an enquiry. Use your supervisor/Managers knowledge and assistance to convert to a sale

· Take note of Customer name or account number for all inquiries

· Take details of inquiry or orders

· Take note of any special delivery instructions

· Analyse all incoming calls and identify quotes from sales. Follow up quotes and try turning them into sales.

· Chase up any special transfers from branches or elsewhere in order that the pickers can complete orders for delivery.

· Update catalogues with any detail changes

· Identify trade customers from retail in order to maximize profit margin.

· Promote and sell related products over the telephone.

· Ensure your workplace is clean and tidy and the catalogues are placed back on their designated shelves.

· Always surcharge products that carry a surcharge code.

· When crediting returned goods, always ensure that the products are in good saleable conditions. Pay particular attention to old cores and reject them back to the customers with valid reasons.

· Report all customer complaints to your Branch Manager, be it service, product quality or pricing issues.

· You will adhere and cooperate with all Health and safety instructions and training to enable our company to comply with the law.

· As an employee of General Traffic you may from time to time be requested to take on other duties which may be found suitable at that instance, at the discretion of the Branch Manager.

  45 average hours per week, Monday - Friday and one in every 3 Saturdays

Pay: From £27,500.00 per year
