Full Job Description
- Purchase from MRP & run daily stock reports.
- Daily dealing with both internal and external suppliers.
- Create purchase orders.
- Liaise with supply chain to ensure on time delivery work with quality.
- Monitoring and organising the replacement materials for any rejected items.
- General administration duties.
- Ensure price files are kept up to date.
- Document Control.
- Order office consumables.
- Assist with other tasks within the purchasing department when required.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth running.
- Invoice query resolution.
Previous experience in a busy buying environment - PC literate with experience of using MS Office (Office, SAGE, MRP, CRM)
- Excellent communication skills and a clear telephone manner are essential.
- Team player and willing to assist colleague when required.
- Possess good organisational skills and can prioritise effectively.
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Being self-motivated, proactive and dynamic
- Be an analytical thinker
