Full Job Description

  • Full Carcass Breakdown: Skilled in the complete breakdown of carcasses to ensure maximum yield and quality.

  • Team Leadership: Ability to direct and teach other team members, sharing your expertise and ensuring best practices.

  • Customer Service: Serve customers with both modern and traditional cuts, providing a friendly and knowledgeable service.

  • Cooking Advice: Offer cooking advice and recommendations to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Product Display: Display meats to a high standard, or be willing to learn how to create eye-catching presentations.

  • Value Added Products: Bring creativity to the role by making Value Added Products (VAP) and introducing fresh ideas.

  • Deli Knowledge: Familiarity with our veg display and delicatessen, especially our cheese range, is ideal, but we are open to teaching passionate individuals.

    Customer-Friendly Attitude: Building trust with our customers is paramount.

  • Knowledgeable: Expertise in both up-to-date and traditional meat cuts.

  • Display Skills: Willingness to learn how to display meats attractively if not already skilled.

  • Creativity: Ability to create innovative Value Added Products and bring new ideas to the table.

  • Deli Familiarity: Knowledge of our delicatessen products, particularly cheeses, is a plus., Butchering: 3 years (required)
