Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer within our Care and Support Service and My Home Fostering & Adoption Service, this role provides administrative support to the front-line teams based at 3 Knowsley Place, Bury. You will be working as part of a team supporting Social Workers and Personal Advisors to ensure the best possible outcome for the looked after children and young people in Bury.

We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and professional individual who is able to provide a high level of administrative support. You will be part of a welcoming and supportive team working in a rewarding and fast paced environment, you will enjoy working to tight deadlines and with high accuracy.

About you:

- You will have exceptional organisational skills in order to work under pressure to complete tasks to potentially conflicting deadlines, without direct line management, re-prioritising your own work as appropriate or allocating tasks to others.

- You will be capable of resolving problems, using your own initiative to provide practical solutions.

- You will be experienced in using computer packages and be confident in quickly being able to use bespoke software used within different services.

- Excellent communications skills will be required, together with high levels of customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous and efficient service to colleagues, partners and service users.

- The ability to produce detailed minutes/notes at pace, with a good attention to detail will be required.
