Full Job Description
- To assist with secretarial and administrative support to clinical and non-clinical areas of the Hospice
- To assist with maintaining a computerized system to record patient information for all clinical areas(EMIS Web)
- To assist with arranging meetings, preparing agendas and documents, and taking minutes for internal meetings
- To assist with maintaining computerized diary systems and assist with training and meeting room booking arrangements.
- To assist with providing IT support and maintenance of printing equipment
- To assist with Reception duties
- To open and distribute incoming hospice mail and process outgoing department mail.
- Work closely with and support the Ward Clerks.
- To ensure confidential patient records and administration documents are stored securely, including safe disposal.
- To support with the ongoing review and updating of the internal Office 365 SharePoint sites.
- To undertake other clerical tasks as required
- To communicate effectively both within and outside the team
- To maintain departmental, patient and whole Hospice confidentiality
- To participate in training as required
- To participate in the annual appraisal process
- To undertake any other appropriate duties as requested by relevant Managers
Minimum criteria:
A minimum of 4 GCSE's 9-4 (A-C) or equivalent (including Maths & English) are required.
Mock/predicted grades will be suitable during the application process.
