Full Job Description

  • Assisting the team with Bookings requests, accounts queries and linguist registration

  • Taking bookings from customers and booking interpreters via e-mail and phone

  • Quoting for customers and negotiating rates with Interpreters

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their language service needs and positioning our services to meet them

  • Following up with interpreters to ensure effective delivery

  • Acting as a point of contact for interpreters and customers, recording issues and achievements

  • Accurately disseminating information and sharing appropriately

  • Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met

  • Ensuring jobs are not left open for longer than necessary

  • Reporting issues that may lead to quality and delivery to management

  • Closing jobs on the portal

  • Creating customer invoices

  • Credit control and Debt collection

  • Handling customer and supplier queries by telephone and email

  • Updating the databases and internal CMS

  • Assisting the team with all administrative tasks

  • Any other tasks as relevant, The apprentice will gain a Business Administrator Level 3 qualification from this apprenticeship

  • Functional skills in maths and English (if required)

Your role will be diverse, encompassing a wide variety of tasks, you'll need excellent administrative and communication skills, as well as a "can do" attitude to help support the team., IT skills, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Number skills, Initiative, Non judgemental, independent, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4 / C or above) Desired
