Full Job Description

We have an opportunity available for a Carpentry / Building Supervisor to effectively supervise all staff and contractors under their control. In this role, you would effectively and professionally manage self, the in-house trades staff and contractors. Additionally, you would cover other Supervisors' areas in their absence.

You would oversee internal and external maintenance of building fabrics and infrastructure, such as road and pathways, roofs, flooring and decorating. Work not limited to, and may include, compliance of passive fire systems and working alongside colleagues to deliver patient needs., The role of the Buildings Supervisor is to effectively supervise all staff and contractors under their control.

To manage the In-house staff and Contractors effectively and professionally with additional responsibility to cover other Supervisors' areas in their absence, for example Carpentry.

To oversee internal and external Maintenance of Building Fabric and Infrastructure, such as Road and Pathways, Roofs, Flooring and Decorating.

Work not limited to and may include compliance of Passive Fire Systems and working alongside colleagues to deliver patient needs.

Being a member of the Estates Operations Team, you have both a group and individual responsibility for defined aspects of the service and will ensure that your contribution is both positive and beneficial in helping the Estates Operations Team and the Estates and Facilities Directorate to fulfill the Trust's overall objectives.

You will ensure that a quality service is delivered that meets the expectations of Trust staff, patients and the public.
