Assistant Youth Worker

If you have experience in supporting young people, aged 10 - 18 years old, we would love to hear from you. You will assist in the delivery of high-quality and exciting activities at our youth centres, which contribute to young people's personal and social development., To assist in the delivery of high-quality and exciting activities for a range of children and young people. To provide children and young people with enjoyable experiences which contribute to personal and social development.

Five weeks plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years service to a maximum of six weeks after six years service. The holdiay year runs from 1st April to 31st March each year. (Pro-Rata for Part Time). Sessional Staff will be paid 14.54% holiday pay for each shift worked.

Salary:

Normal Rates of Pay from 1st April 2024 are:
£10.59 per hour 18-20 years old

£11.44 per hour over 21 years old, For contracted and regualr staff the post holder will be entitled to free use of the YMCA East Surrey fitness centre in Redhill and half price YMCA childcare for dependents.

There is free parking available at all sites. YMCA East Surrey also operates a Bike to Work Scheme.
