Scheduling is a business-critical function at Deloitte. It ensures that organisations have the right people, with the right skills, in the right locations, available at the right time.
As a senior assistant you will support the Resource Managers in updating compliance classroom and e-learnings and professional education bookings ensuring all auditors are compliant and following the professional education pathway.
The role is people focused and is founded on establishing effective working relationships with key stakeholders, resource managers and practitioners.

You will work closely with the business units and internal departments to ensure the effective deployment of learning and professional education.
Within this role, you will develop your stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities include:

  • Interpret and Analyse Management Information (MI) to identify trends, make connections and spot opportunities to improve profitability.

  • Share knowledge, best practice and network with your colleagues across the business and the wider Resource Management Function.

  • Engage with key stakeholders to deliver creative learning and professional education solutions and manage any issues.

  • Provide a level of flexibility and agility in the staffing model to respond to timetable changes, new courses and constant moving nature of resourcing.

  • Be aware of potential future learning and changes in professional education pathway changes.

  • Liaise with HR, central learning and professional education teams to ensure accuracy of people data.

  • Engage and promote the use of the Workforce Planning, learning and professional education system.

    You will have professional Resource Planning experience in a medium to large sized organisation.

  • Computer literate, in particular an excellent working knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to plan and prioritise, multitask and manage a significant workload under pressure.

  • Anticipating and recognising when conflict may occur and work to resolve these through supporting and escalating to senior stakeholders as necessary.

  • A proactive attitude towards change and ongoing focus on improvement.

  • Ability to gain immediate credibility with senior stakeholders and the trust of staff.

  • Ability to gain an in-depth understanding of our practice.

  • Ability to develop yourself and the team by seeking opportunities that stretch and challenge.

  • Able to travel across the UK Deloitte offices

  • Personal independence
