Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Management Accountant. In this role, you will work closely with the finance team to support various financial functions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.,
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Monthly reconciliations of multi-currency accounts and cash.
- Calculation and communication of sales commissions to staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support for decision-making processes.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with the reconciliation of balance sheet and resolve any discrepancies or issues as they arise.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment. - Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (regularly uses XLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Accounts IQ, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Previous experience in handling large datasets (1m+ rows of data) is a plus
- Studying towards a professional certification (e.g., ACCA/CIMA) is a plus.
