Full Job Description

The role is a mix of governance/administration/clerical work and some co-ordination of maintenance and repairs. You will clerk committee meetings - working with the Clerk and Chair to set the agenda, produce the minutes, and follow up on actions - this includes liaising with contractors (and the village caretaker) on routine maintenance and repairs. You will provide some cover in the Clerk's absence. The Parish Council owns and manages an outdoor swimming pool in the village; you will have regular contact with pool management and staff. Some prior experience of working in a local authority or similar setting would be helpful.
